Club Med, the pioneer of all-inclusive holidays, celebrated its 75th anniversary with a special reception in Bangkok on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Aesops Greek Restaurant & Rooftop, located on the 25th floor of the Column Bangkok Hotel.
The anniversary celebration in Thailand brought together over 150 guests, including travel agents, media, bloggers, partners, and loyalty members. The celebration highlighted Club Med’s enduring legacy and innovative future, featuring a brand immersion presentation, interactive activities, and an awards ceremony for top-performing travel agents. Attendees also received a preview of upcoming brand initiatives and strategic growth plans.



Bruno Courbet, Director for Thailand, Indonesia, India, and New Markets, spoke to the brand’s momentum and expansion.

Upcoming Events and Promotions
Thai Tiew Thai Fair: From August 21-24, 2025, Club Med is offering special promotions at the Thai Tiew Thai Fair, to be held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. Guests who purchase a Club Med package will have the chance to win a Samsonite Mini EVOA Z case and enjoy up to 15% discount vouchers from Samsonite, based on spending tiers. The promotion applies to bookings for Club Med ski resorts in China or Japan, as well as beach resorts in Bali, Phuket, the Maldives, and Bintan. Offers are available both at the Thai Tiew Thai Fair and online at Club Med’s website from August 15–31, 2025.
Padel Tournament: In partnership with Babolat, the world’s oldest racquet sports company, Club Med will host a padel tournament at Kross Padel Bangkok on October 4-5, 2025. Local winners will receive an all-inclusive trip to the Padel Grand Slam in Bali, Indonesia, from November 5-8, 2025.


Prizes are:
▪ Grand Slam Trip: A three-night all-inclusive stay at Club Med Bali, including flights, and masterclasses at the Padel Clinic with Babolat pro-athletes.

New Resorts Announced for 2026
Club Med also announced two new resorts, scheduled to open in 2026, making a significant expansion of its global footprint.
▪ Club Med South Africa: Located on the Dolphin Coast, north of Durban, this will be Club Med’s first resort in South Africa. The all-inclusive Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari will offer a unique combination of a beach holiday on the Indian Ocean and an immersive safari experience at the Mpilo Safari Lodge. The lodge is situated within an 18,000-hectare game reserve home to the “Big Five”: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and Cape buffalos.
▪ Club Med Borneo: Opening in 2026 in Sabah, Malaysia, this will be the first resort in Asia-Pacific to achieve BREEAM certification, reflecting the brand’s commitment to sustainability. The resort will feature 361 premium rooms and 39 luxury suites, along with an Exclusive Collection Space. Inclusive activities will include nature walks and snorkelling, with optional excursions to local attractions.
